Collaboration with the Eden Reforestation Projects
Stockholm University’s Department of Physical Geography and Eden Reforestation Projects have formed a joint research partnership. The partnership focuses on providing graduate students from the Physical Geography Department with field and satellite research opportunities. The research efforts are designed to measure the growth and health of Eden’s mangrove restoration projects located in Madagascar. The studies conducted to date indicate Eden’s restoration efforts have positively impacted the Mahajanga Region’s mangrove habitats.
For further information regarding Stockholm University’s research these mangrove ecosystems and their restoration contact Dr Ian Brown ([email protected]).
